	Walk to School – Friday 18th May is National Walk to School Day. Please get behind this fantastic initiative by planning to walk to school with your children. Mr Burgess, Mr Marais and a member of our local Police Community will be walking from Lakewoods that morning, and they would love you to join them. A free breakfast will be available in the undercover area from 8am for all our keen walkers. Our local Lions club will also be helping out with the breakfast.

	Trivia Night for Music Uniforms – A team of dedicated parents are behind our Trivia Night planned for Saturday 26th May. Money raised from this event will go towards much needed resources at school including Performance Uniforms for our music students. There will be games, raffles and auction items in between rounds to make the night loads of fun. Get the details here.

	Chaplaincy News: The annual K's 4 Kids Walk is here once again – K's 4 Kids is our annual walk to help raise funds to ensure our Chaplaincy Service remains here at the school. This year it is on Saturday 2 June and it will be Pastor Dave's last opportunity to walk for us. He needs our help. Find out how you can help here.

	Sports news – Welcome back to a great term for sport. Term two is our athletics term where the students will be training for the athletics carnival which will be held in week 9. Get the latest updates on athlectics, the Gala Day and other sports news and here.

	Year 6 & 7 Maroon Dam Camp 2012 – The Year 6 & 7 (Stage D) camp this year will be held at Maroon Dam Outdoor Education Centre. Students will be given unique learning opportunities in outdoor adventurous settings. Information for parents and permission forms can be downloaded from the Document Library.

	School Disco – THURSDAY 31st MAY. Prep – Grade 3: Start 5.15pm – Finish 6.30pm. Grades 3–7: Start 7.00pm – Finish 8.30pm. Tickets will be on sale from Friday 25th May.
